Jessica Harvey

Jessica Harvey, a Denver native, has been a fitness buff her whole life. Always looking for her niche, she came across yoga five years ago and it changed her life! “From the moment I walked into my first yoga class I was hooked, and I knew I would be going to yoga for the rest of my life!”
She practiced Bikram yoga for the first two years. In London, Jessica found Vinyasa yoga, a fluid form of yoga that focuses on a rich flow linking breath with movement. Stateside again, Jessica found power yoga at Wild Lotus Yoga Center in New Orleans. She fell in love with the power yoga both with heat and without, combining all the essential elements of a fun and thorough practice. Upon returning home, Jessica resumed her daily practice at CorePower Yoga in Denver.
After graduating from Tulane University in July 2005, Jessica was ready to deepen her practice to find a way to give the same gift to people that she had received four years earlier. She enrolled in a nine-week teacher training at CorePower yoga. In December of 2005, Jessica completed her 200 hours of training and currently has her Yoga Alliance Teacher Certification. In her spare time, Jessica is an event planner for the non-profit service organization, Urban Peak.
A daily student herself, Jessica brings an energy and love for yoga to each and every one of her yoga classes. She will make you love yoga as she fosters a fun, encouraging, challenging environment that allows for growth both on the mat and in daily life. “If you are able to find yoga and incorporate it into your daily routine, I promise it will change your life–allowing you to see everything in a new light and giving you the tools to face life’s challenges!”
“Go placidly amid the haste, and remember
what peace there may be in silence”
Namaste!
